I’m Running for Belmont City Council

I’m excited to share that I’m running for Belmont City Council, District 3, in this November’s election.

Belmont is my family’s home. It is where our kids go to school, where we have built amazing friendships, where we work, and where we unwind. It is the place where daily life happens, and where local decisions matter most.

For the last 20 years, I have worked across federal civil service and the cleantech industry, with my career rooted in service, problem-solving, and long-term thinking. I’m running because Belmont is where I want to put that experience to work.

In a world where so much feels out of our control, I keep coming back to the importance of community. There is real work we can do close to home to improve quality of life, support one another, and create spaces where people feel connected and cared for.

That belief also shaped a recent piece I wrote in the San Mateo Daily Journalabout the importance of investing in community spaces so more people feel connected, supported, and proud to belong here. More broadly, I believe government should listen, make informed decisions, and follow through.

This campaign is rooted in the idea that local leadership matters. Belmont’s future will be shaped by the choices we make together, and I would be honored to earn your support.

Support the campaign.
